Job summary

First Citizens Bank is hiring for a mortgage loan operations role within the mortgage lending team. This hybrid position partners with a mortgage banker to gather client information, coordinate with underwriting, and guide borrowers through the loan process.

You will submit applications, clear conditions, communicate with clients, and help manage a banker’s pipeline while ensuring a smooth closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1 year mortgage lending ops experience OR high school diploma/GED plus 5 years mortgage lending ops experience.
• Experience with Encompass LOS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submit applications with mortgage bankers to ensure clear, complete, timely processing.
• Close loans by clearing conditions and coordinating with title, closing agents, and internal teams.
