Job summary

F2 Finance in Santa Monica seeks an in-office Credit Underwriting Support to manage loan files end-to-end, from intake through closing, while supporting the credit lead. You will review third-party reports, coordinate with brokers and borrowers, and help prepare initial credit summaries.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in private lending or mortgage operations, plus strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

2–4 years in private lending, hard money, or real estate finance.
Direct experience closing loans preferred.
Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple files.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication with brokers, borrowers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

File processing and closing coordination: manage loan file from intake to closing, build credit package, track conditions, drive items to completion.
Underwriting support: spread borrower financials, prepare initial credit summaries, review property values and exit assumptions.
Portfolio and operational support: assist with extensions, payoffs, watchlist materials, and improve time-to-close.
Identify process improvements to reduce close time and improve file quality.
