Job summary

F2 Finance is seeking an experienced loan originator to generate new business, develop relationships with borrowers and brokers, and manage opportunities from inquiry to closing. The role is based in our Santa Monica office, with openness to a remote arrangement for an exceptional candidate with a proven production history.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a loan officer.
• Direct experience at a private lender, hard money lender, or bridge lending company.
• Verifiable track record of originating at least $1 million per month.
• Established network of borrowers, brokers, investors, or referral sources.
• Strong knowledge of private lending transactions and credit considerations.
• Ability to build, manage, and convert a large pipeline.
• Strong sales, relationship management, and communication skills.
• Disciplined approach to prospecting and CRM management.

Responsibilities

• Originate short-term bridge, fix and flip, and other business-purpose real estate loans.
• Develop relationships with borrowers, brokers, investors, and referral partners.
• Build and manage a substantial pipeline of prospective loans.
• Work company-generated leads while conducting outbound business development.
• Qualify opportunities against F2 Finance’s credit appetite.
• Structure and present transactions clearly to the credit team.
• Maintain oversight of loans through processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Deliver clear, proactive communication to customers and internal teams.
• Represent F2 Finance at conferences and industry events.
