The People Of: Professional Services is seeking a Fund Formation & Investment Management Associate Attorney in the United States. The role supports a sophisticated private funds practice with exposure to fund formation, investment management, secondary, and restructurings across multiple offices.

The candidate will handle a broad range of private funds matters, coordinate with senior attorneys and institutional clients, and draft complex fund documents.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant law firm experience.
• Substantive experience in fund formation and investment management.
• Admission in good standing to a U.S. state Bar is required.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school and prior law firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of private funds matters, including structuring and formation of funds.
• Advise GPs and LPs through the fund lifecycle.
• Negotiate transactions with institutional investors.
• Coordinate across multi-attorney teams and maintain direct client communication.
• Draft and negotiate fund, investment, and management documentation.
