Job summary

We are recruiting on behalf of a private household in San Francisco for a proactive Family & Personal Assistant. The role supports daily household operations, school-age childcare, and occasional evening/weekend coverage with advance notice.

Expect a 12:00 PM–7:00 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, on-site. Compensation is $45–$60+ per hour, with benefits including PTO, holidays, sick leave, a health stipend, and a company vehicle for work duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in family assistance, childcare, or household management.
• Enjoy working with children and building positive relationships.
• Strong organizational skills, discretion, and initiative.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or pursuing higher education.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school pickups, activities, and local transportation with homework oversight.
• Manage daily logistics, vendors, mail, inventory, and household projects.
• Plan and prepare nutritious dinners; handle light tidying, laundry, and pet care.
• Assist with scheduling, travel research, and related admin tasks.
• Provide occasional extended evening, weekend, or overnight coverage as needed.
