Job summary

Hudson Gate Partners in New York, NY is seeking a Human Capital/Talent Associate to support internal and portfolio talent initiatives in a newly created role. The position offers broad exposure to private equity talent strategy, executive search, organizational effectiveness, and HR leadership collaboration.

You will drive performance management components, assist with employee engagement, and coordinate talent mapping and research for executive moves across the firm and portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Talent, Executive Search, Human Capital Consulting, or related field in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, talent mapping, executive search processes, and employment-related considerations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
• General understanding of financial services or private equity preferred.
• Candidates from consulting with PE funds, healthcare, or industrials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive components of the performance management cycle, including annual reviews and goal setting.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, including leading the annual survey and follow-up actions.
• Serve as a thought partner to CHRO and the Human Capital team on strategic initiatives.
• Own coordination of the firm's HR Council with agenda development and communications.
• Assist in planning and executing Human Capital events and leadership programs.
• Lead research and talent mapping for executive searches and deal-related initiatives.
• Track executive movement and maintain leadership pipelines across the portfolio.
• Manage Human Capital data across the firm and portfolio, including compensation data.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support talent strategy and best practices.
• Contribute to knowledge management and reporting across Human Capital.
