Job summary

Western & Southern Financial Group's Private Equity Operations team seeks a Research Analyst to support the PE business unit by analyzing industry trends, fund performance, and forecasted cash needs for existing and future investments.

You will build models, create quarterly reporting, and develop presentations for Advisory Board meetings and annual meetings, communicating findings to senior PE team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation abilities.
• Proven quantitative skills in economics, mathematics, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to document procedures clearly.
• Ability to interact with staff at all levels and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Creates quarterly reports, including commentary and Board presentations.
• Analyzes historical and projected performance of underlying funds; calls CFOs for clarity.
• Performs ad hoc analyses and builds models for fund performance and investment scenarios.
• Researches market trends and communicates findings to the PE team.
• Supports monitoring of alternative asset portfolios and due diligence processes.
• Builds Excel models to evaluate investments; drafts investment recommendations.
