Job summary

FEG is seeking a Senior Research Analyst - Private Equity in Cincinnati, OH to source and evaluate private equity investment managers across buyout, growth, venture, secondaries, and co-investment strategies. The role includes conducting due diligence, presenting to the Investment Committee, and developing market research and investment theses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, institutional investment research, or related field.
• Knowledge of private capital markets across buyout, growth equity, venture capital, secondaries, and co-investment strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to Investment Committee and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, due diligence, recommendation, and ongoing monitoring of private equity investment managers.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative investment analysis and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Serve as a primary relationship manager for assigned investment firms.
• Partner with senior professionals to support manager selection, portfolio construction, and client deliverables.
• Develop market research, investment theses, and educational content on private markets.
