Soul Equity Solutions seeks a Private Equity Principal in Miami to source, execute, and manage investments with high ownership from origination to close. This role collaborates with firm leadership and portfolio teams, guiding portfolio reporting and strategic value creation.
The position offers a true deal-owner path, strong upside through carry and equity, and on-site work in Miami, FL, with a focus on lower middle market opportunities in essential services sectors.
A lower middle market private equity firm based in Miami, founded by an investor with nearly a decade of experience at a top PE firm before launching this platform. The firm has invested over $125 million across three platforms, completing more than two dozen acquisitions with two successful exits and returns exceeding 3x invested capital. The firm targets founder-owned businesses in essential services sectors including business services, value-added distribution, and specialty manufacturing across the Sun Belt, creating value through acquisitions, integration, infrastructure professionalization (sales, systems, technology, and reporting), and management team strengthening.
This Principal role sits on the deal team, working directly with firm leadership to source, execute, and manage the firm's investments. This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership seat: you will own transactions end to end, from origination through close, and stay closely engaged with portfolio companies and investors after the deal is done.
A genuine, performance‑based path for the right person to grow into a larger role as the firm's first institutional fund closes and the platform scales.
$225-275k cash compensation (base + bonus) plus generous equity and $150k per closed platform bonuses
