Advocates Legal Recruiting is seeking a midlevel associate for a leading private equity fund formation group, based in New York with a Washington, D.C. emphasis. You will handle sponsor-side formation, draft and negotiate fund documents, and support closings with direct client interaction.

You’ll work closely with senior partners, receive hands-on training, and manage deadlines on sophisticated matters in a premier AmLaw 100 setting. Competitive base pay with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Class years 2018–2021 from a nationally recognized firm or fund practice.

Responsibilities

• Sponsor-side formation for private equity funds and related vehicles.
• Draft, negotiate, and refine core fund documents and investor materials.
• Support fundraisings and closings, coordinate with tax, regulatory, and finance teams.
• Daily client contact and responsibility scaled to experience, with mentorship baked in.
