Job summary

J.P. Morgan Alternative Fund Services (AFS) is a major fund administration unit within JPMorgan's Securities Services.

This VP role oversees daily client deliverables for Private Equity funds, including NAVs, financial statements, capital events, fees and carried interest, investor statements, and year-end processes with audits and tax teams. You will manage timelines, SLA adherence, and escalate issues while leveraging deep knowledge of Private Equity structures and fund documents.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA with 8+ years in Private Equity fund administration.
• Knowledge of US GAAP for Investment Funds.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or MBA.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and client service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of client deliverables for Private Equity fund administration clients, including expectations and timelines.
• Stay abreast of industry standards and best practices to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Liaise with risk, audit, compliance, implementation, investor relations and operations teams.
• Ensure adherence to control framework and policies.
• Lead ad hoc client projects and internal initiatives.
• Mentor staff and oversee technical topics and client issues.
• Review fund governing documents and side letters to assess reporting impact.
