Job summary

Friedman Williams in New York seeks a Business Development Coordinator to support Private Equity and related practices by assisting with client development, marketing initiatives, and BD projects. You will work with attorneys and internal teams to pursue new business opportunities and strengthen relationships.

Responsibilities include helping with pitches, proposals, RFPs, and client presentations; maintaining CRM and market research; and supporting events, conferences, and directory

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, business development, communications, or a related field.
• Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and project management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist with pitches, proposals, RFPs, and client presentations.
• Coordinate information and deadlines for business development projects.
• Prepare and maintain attorney, matter, and practice-area materials.
• Support legal rankings, awards, and directory submissions.
• Assist with events, conferences, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership.
• Research clients, prospects, competitors, and market trends.
• Maintain CRM records, target lists, and relationship information.
• Help identify new business and cross-selling opportunities.
• Support reporting, meetings, business plans, and special projects.
• Collaborate with attorneys and business development teams across the firm.
