Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School is seeking compassionate nurses to provide private duty pediatric home care for a 7-year-old with a g-tube in Pikesville, MD. The role focuses on one-on-one care in the home and requires an active Maryland nursing license (LPN or RN) and CPR/BLS certification. Shifts are two days per week (8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m.). Training is available for G-tube, trach, and ventilator support, with opportunities for ongoing education and growth within a Joint Commission

Qualifications

• Active Maryland nursing license (LPN or RN) and CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence to work independently in pediatric home care.
• Preference for G-tube/Trach care knowledge; training offered.
• Vent experience is a plus; pediatric experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessment.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.

Private Duty Pediatric Nurse for 7 year old male with a g-tube in Pikesville, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

• Two days per week: 8A-4:30P

• Attends school

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
