Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School is seeking compassionate LPNs or RNs for private duty home care in Fallston, MD. The nurse will work one-on-one with a pediatric client, perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, and document care per a formal Plan of Care.

Training for G-tube/Trach and vent care is available for qualified candidates. Shift options include night and day, with hourly pay and benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate Compact.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently in home care settings.
• G-tube/Trach care knowledge preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

Private Duty Nurse (LPN or RN) for a 4 yo male, with g-tube, trach, & vent in Fallston, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
