Job summary

Private Duty Nurse for a 15 yo male requiring g-tube, trach, vent, chest vest and cough assist therapy is needed for home care assignments. The agency offers training in specialized areas and supports a flexible schedule to fit lifestyle needs.

Shifts include overnight coverage: Wed 8P-6A, Thu 8P-6A, every other Sat 8P-6A, and Sun 8P-6A. Nurses work one-on-one with the client and must be able to work independently in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license (LPN or RN).
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

• Wednesday: 8P-6A
• Thursday: 8P-6A
• Every other Saturday: 8P-6A
• Sunday: 8P-6A

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
