Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School is seeking compassionate nurses for private duty in Pasadena, MD, to care for a 9-year-old boy at home. This role involves one-on-one care in the client's home, with the possibility of training in specialized areas as needed.

Responsibilities include completing nursing assessments, administering medications and treatments per the Plan of Care, and documenting nursing notes clearly. The schedule includes every other Saturday, 8P-4:30A.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact license (LPN or RN).
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence to work independently.
• Willing to train in G-tube/Trach and vent care; pediatric experience a plus.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Every other Saturday: 8P-4:30A

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
