Job summary

Comprehensive Nursing Services Inc. provides home health nursing for a pediatric patient in Phoenix, MD, offering training in G-tube, Trach, and vent care as needed. Nurses work one-on-one in the client's home and participate in care coordination under supervision.

Open positions include LPNs and RNs with a willingness to train. Shifts include weekdays, with emphasis on compassionate, independent practice in a private duty setting. We emphasize continued education and team support.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence to work independently.
• Willing to train in G-tube/Trach care and vent care.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Private Duty Nurse for a 15 year old male with a trach & vent in Phoenix, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Monday thru Friday: 8A-4:30P

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
