Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School seeks compassionate LPNs and RNs for Private Duty Nursing in Bel Air, MD. Nurses will work one-on-one in clients' homes, performing assessments and administering medications per the Plan of Care. Training in G-tube/Trach and vent care is offered to qualified candidates.

Ideal candidates hold an active MD nursing license and CPR/BLS certification, with the ability to work independently. Vent experience is preferred, and pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact license (LPN or RN).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Confidence to work independently in a home-care setting.
• G-tube/Trach care knowledge preferred; training offered.
• Vent experiences preferred, training available.

Responsibilities

Private Duty Nurse (LPN or RN) for 34 yo male with g-tube, trach, & vent in Bel Air, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Thursday: 3P-11P

Tuesday: 11P-7A

Friday 11P-7A

Job Responsibilities

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
