Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School in Berlin, MD seeks compassionate LPNs and RNs for private duty pediatric home care for a 15-year-old with g/j-tube, BiPAP, and O2. Positions include 12A-8A shifts 2-3 nights per week, working one-on-one in the client's home.

We offer training in G-tube, trach, and ventilator care if needed. Requirements include MD nursing license (or Multistate compact), CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid CPR/BLS certification.

• Vent experience preferred.

Private Duty Pediatric Nurse (LPN or RN) for 15 y/o male with a g/j-tube, bi-pap, and O2, in Berlin, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

2-3 nights per week: 12A-8A

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
