Job summary

Comprehensive Nursing Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate LPNs and RNs to provide private duty nursing in Maryland. You will care for pediatric and adult clients in the home, perform assessments, administer treatments, and maintain careful documentation.

We offer training in g-tube, trach, and ventilator care if needed, with shifts including evenings and weekends. Competitive pay, weekly pay, and benefits after probation are provided.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Willing to train in G-tube/Trach care and Vent care.
• Vent experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home.
• Complete nursing assessment and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.

Private Duty Nurse (LPN or RN) for a 15 yo male, with g-tube, trach, vent, chest vest and cough assist therapy.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Wednesday: 8P-6A

Thursday: 8P-6A

Every other Saturday: 8P-6A

Sunday: 8P-6A

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
