Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School is recruiting compassionate LPNs and RNs to provide private duty pediatric home health in Pasadena, MD for a 1-year-old with a g-tube. Training is available for g-tube, trach, and ventilator care as needed.

Day shift 8A-4P and night shift 10P-6A are offered. You will work one-on-one in the client’s home, perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and document care. Competitive wages and weekly pay with benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted Maryland nursing license (LPN or RN).
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to train in G-tube/Trach care; vent experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home.
• Complete nursing assessment.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Day shift: 8A-4P

Night shift: 10P-6A

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
