Job summary

Comprehensive Nursing Services Inc in Worton, MD is seeking a Private Duty Pediatric Nurse (LPN or RN) for a 12-year-old with a g-tube. The role offers care in the child’s home, with training provided for G-tube and Trach as needed.

Expect to work every other weekend days, with supervision available from our experienced nursing team. The position requires MD license or Multistate compact, CPR/BLS, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license or Multistate license (LPN or RN).
• CPR/BLS certification must be valid.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes.
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care; willing to train.
• Vent experience is preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Private Duty Pediatric Nurse (LPN or RN) for a 12 y/o male with a g-tube in Worton, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Every other weekend dayshift

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
