Job summary

Comprehensive Nursing Services Inc. is seeking compassionate LPNs and RNs for private duty pediatric nursing in Berlin, MD. The role involves in-home care for a 3-year-old with a g-tube, including night shifts (12 hours) and potential training in g-tube, trach, and vent care.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, medication administration, and documenting care. Licensure in MD or multi-state compact, CPR/BLS, and independent work capability are required; pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in MD or Multistate compact license (LPN or RN).
• CPR/BLS certification required/preferred.
• Confidence to work independently.
• G-tube/Trach care knowledge preferred; training available.
• Vent experience preferred; training available.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home.
• Complete nursing assessment.
• Administer medications and treatments per Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.

Private Duty Pediatric Nurse (LPN or RN) for 3 y/o male with a g-tube in Berlin, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Night shift (12 hours/flexible)

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
