East Palestine Elementary School is seeking a compassionate Private Duty Nurse to provide in-home care for a 33-year-old male client in Towson, MD. The role involves one-on-one patient care in the home, with nursing assessments and medication administration according to the Plan of Care.

Licensure in Maryland (LPN or RN) and CPR/BLS certification are required; pediatric experience is a plus. Training in G-tube/Trach care and vent care is available, with a weekly pay schedule and health benefits

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in MD required.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to train in G-tube, Trach, and Vent care.
• Vent experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments per the Plan of Care.

Private Duty Nurse for a 33 yo male with trach, & vent in Towson, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

Sunday: 7A-7P

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
