Job summary

Private Duty Nurse for a 41 yo male with g-tube, trach, and vent in Stevenson, MD. Working one-on-one in the client’s home, you will perform nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments per the patient’s Plan of Care, and document nursing notes clearly and concisely.

Shifts available: Saturday 4P-11P and Sunday 4P-11P. We provide training in G-tube, trach, and vent if needed; nursing supervisors are eager to mentor and support your professional development.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Willing to train in G-tube/Trach care; vent experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working one-on-one in the client's home.
• Complete nursing assessment.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

• Saturday: 4P-11P
• Sunday: 4P-11P

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
