Job summary

Columbia, MD-based Comprehensive Nursing Services Inc is hiring compassionate LPNs and RNs for private duty home care in the Columbia area. We train in G-tube, trach, and vent care as needed, with supervision from experienced nursing staff and a well established agency focused on quality patient care.

Shifts are 1–2 days per week from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days, weekly pay, a referral bonus program, ongoing educational training, and

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - LPN or RN
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Willing to train qualified candidates in G-tube/Trach care
• Vent experience preferred
• Pediatric experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Working one-on-one in the client's home

• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care

Private Duty Nurse for a 37 yo female, with g/j tube, trach & vent in Columbia, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

1-2 days per week: 9:30A-3:30P

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on‑one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
