East Palestine Elementary School is seeking a Private Duty Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide in-home care for a 4-year-old in Fallston, MD. Nurses will perform one-on-one client care, assessments, and medication administration, documenting notes clearly.

Shift options include night and day; training in G-tube, Trach, and Vent care is available. Competitive pay with benefits after a probationary period and ongoing professional education are offered.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact (LPN or RN).
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently.

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner
  

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
