Qualifikationen

• A high school diploma or equivalent and active, current CNA certification in the state of practice
• One year of experience working with adults in a healthcare setting
• Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse Aide; valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance

Aufgaben

• Provide optimal comfort care, dignity and privacy for the patient
• Obtain vital signs of patient(s) assigned
• Follow procedures for handling medical emergencies or other incidents that affect the delivery of services
• Report patient progress and problems to supervisory personnel
• Observe and report any changes in condition, including skin integrity
• Provide comfort care, companion, shopping/errands, meal prepping and related tasks, housekeeping, appointment scheduling, medication reminders services
• Assist with patient transfer, ambulation, and exercise
• Provide personal hygiene to patient(s), including bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, skin care, dressing, toileting, and hair care
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the patient
• Coordinate care with agency RN Supervisor
• Maintain accurate and current records of visits
• Perform all other duties as assigned
