Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for private duty assignments (full time, part time or PRN) to join the PH Family First pilot in the metro Atlanta area.

You will provide compassionate personal care, monitor patient conditions, assist with hygiene, mobility and routine activities, and coordinate with an agency RN Supervisor. A current CNA certification and reliable transportation are required, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent and an active CNA certification in the state of practice
• One year of experience working with adults in a healthcare setting
• Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse Aide
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort care, dignity and privacy for the patient
• Obtain vital signs of patient(s) assigned
• Follow procedures for handling medical emergencies or other incidents that affect the delivery of services
• Report patient progress and problems to supervisory personnel
• Observe and report any changes in condition, including skin integrity
• Provide comfort care, companion, shopping/errands, meal prepping and related tasks, housekeeping, appointment scheduling, medication reminders services
• Assist with patient transfer, ambulation, and exercise
• Provide personal hygiene to patient(s), including bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, skin care, dressing, toileting, and hair care
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the patient
• Coordinate care with agency RN Supervisor
• Maintain accurate and current records of visits
• Perform all other duties as assigned
