Job summary

Audax Group in Boston, MA is seeking an Operations Manager for the Finance Private Debt team. The role focuses on overseeing daily workflows, including trade closings, internal transfers, leverage facility management, and cash monitoring to support growth and scalability.

The successful candidate will lead a team, strengthen controls, coordinate with internal and external partners (including TresVista), and drive process improvements for efficiency and risk reduction across the private debt

Qualifications

• BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related major; CFA or MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in private debt or credit operations.
• Experience in loan trade settlement and leverage facility operations.
• Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage primary and secondary loan closings, including funding coordination and settlements.
• Manage internal transfers of investments across Private Debt vehicles.
• Oversee daily operations of leverage facilities with monitoring and reporting.
• Monitor daily cash activity and forecast funding across investment vehicles.
• Provide daily oversight and coaching to junior Operations team members.
• Oversee reconciliations, data accuracy, and controls across internal systems.
• Coordinate with TresVista to ensure timely reconciliations and deliverables.
• Manage post-closing operational activities for agency deals.
• Support audit confirmations and other reporting.
