Job summary

Audax Group in New York is seeking an Associate for its Private Debt division to support underwriting, deal execution, and portfolio monitoring. You will analyze sponsor-backed transactions, build financial models, and help prepare investment materials for committee review.

The role offers NYC-based work with a base salary of $110,000–$150,000 plus a discretionary annual bonus; four days per week in-office with potential adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2–4 years in investment banking, direct lending, or private credit.
• Experience building and using detailed financial models.
• LBO/sponsor transaction exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite investments by analyzing sponsor-backed transactions and building financial models.
• Participate in deal execution from screening to closing and prepare investment materials for committee review.
• Monitor portfolio performance and assess refinancing opportunities and market developments.
