Job summary

G MASS Consulting is seeking an experienced Alternative Operations professional to support the lifecycle management of private debt and private equity investments. The role focuses on accurate settlement, ongoing asset servicing, and proper accounting across complex loan and deal structures.

Responsibilities include timely settlement, asset setup, cash settlement confirmations, reconciliations, and coordinating with front office, legal, finance and custodians to maintain operational controls.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of term loans, revolvers, delayed draws, and privately originated debt/equity.
• Understanding accounting implications of asset lifecycle events (P&I, fees, capital movements).
• Experience in a controlled, detail-oriented environment with timeliness.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in an alternatives platform.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely settlement and ongoing operational management of assets.
• Support asset lifecycle activities: setup, confirmations, reconciliations, vaulting, research.
• Manage security registrations and support debt restructurings and amendments.
• Oversee loan agency processes: drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, covenants.
• Record and review lifecycle accounting events (P&I, fees, expenses, capital movements).
• Collaborate with front office, legal, finance and custodians to ensure accuracy and controls.
