Job summary

Audax Group seeks a Finance Manager for Audax Private Debt in Boston. This role leads financial reporting, fund performance valuation, and interaction with investors. It requires CPA, 5+ years in accounting for private debt, and expertise in GAAP and SEC/BDC reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA.
• 5+ years experience, preferably in alternative investment asset managers.
• Extensive experience with Private Equity/Debt valuation.
• SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and fund-level returns.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations for fundraising materials and investor requests.
• Prepare MD&A on fund performance for senior management.
• Contribute to valuation process for debt, equity, and CLO investments.
• Coordinate with tax on quarterly estimates and year-end allocations.
• Track portfolio investments and cash receipts; daily cash management and reconciliation.
