The Powder Horn Club, Sheridan, WY, is seeking a driven Sous Chef to join Troon’s private club family. You will lead kitchen operations, mentor staff, and ensure top-quality dining for members and guests in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time opportunity emphasizes culinary excellence, cost control, and member satisfaction, with compensation up to $60,000 depending on experience. Join a premier golf and hospitality organization known for its standards of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a high-volume environment.
• Previous Sous Chef or senior supervisory kitchen experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of food costing, inventory control, and purchasing practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in directing the daily operations of all kitchen activities.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and develop cooks, prep cooks, stewards, and other kitchen staff.
• Lead the kitchen during service and assume full operational responsibility in the Executive Chef's absence.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment built on professionalism and accountability.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to support business demands and staffing needs.
