Job summary

Aronimink Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Member Billing Accountant to join our finance team in Newtown Square, PA. The role focuses on accurate member billing, AR processes, and daily transactional activity in a hospitality-driven private club environment.

You will collaborate with the Accounting Department and Club Operations to maintain precise records and provide timely statements and responses to member inquiries, ensuring exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Two or more years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Northstar Club Management software is preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, private clubs, hotels, or restaurants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve AR discrepancies by preparing reports and collaborating with managers.
• Process approved credits memos and account adjustments.
• Audit POS transactions and reconcile end-of-day activities.
• Prepare and distribute monthly member statements and banquet billings.
• Process member payments and reconcile cash, checks, and electronic payments.
• Respond to member billing questions and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Prepare aging reports and monitor past-due accounts.
