Job summary

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.’s Private Client Division is seeking a Registered Client Service Associate at the Chrysler East, NY branch. The role supports Financial Advisors in sales, marketing and day-to-day operations of a growing wealth management practice.

The candidate should have superior interpersonal and multitasking skills, be able to work independently or as part of a small team, and handle multiple tasks with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a sales assistant/RCSA role in a corporate/brokerage environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn internal software quickly.
• Able to interface with all levels of employees, management and clients professionally and timely.

Responsibilities

• Learn and adapt to service the needs of various accounts and answer day-to-day questions from clients and advisors.
• Develop knowledge of forms and account procedures to assist clients.
• Utilize research and technical support tools to produce quality analytical reports.
• Promote firm services by strengthening relationships with advisors with timely responses.
• Cultivate and grow existing client relationships and support marketing efforts.
