Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank Invest is seeking a PEC Consultant to support Colabora Capital Partners in originating and structuring investments with exposure to private capital markets in Latin America and the Caribbean. The role involves financial modelling, preparing investment materials, and coordinating fundraising activities with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, International Development, or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity/infrastructure investing, project finance, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; clear writing and presentation abilities.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams; entrepreneurial and proactive in early-stage environments.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Financial modelling and analytical support for transaction-related workstreams.
• Preparation of presentations, investment materials and internal/external documents.
• Support on fundraising materials, investor research and fundraising strategy.
• Research on institutional investors and maintenance of investor tracking materials.
• Support on DDQs, RFPs and other investor diligence requests.
• Assistance with market, sector and company research.
• Support on internal policies, procedures and other institution-building workstreams.
• General support to the senior team across strategic, transaction and fundraising priorities.
