Job summary

PJT Partners, a global advisory-focused investment bank, seeks a candidate with LatAm experience to evaluate, structure, and execute strategic advisory and financing opportunities. You will support due diligence, valuation, and negotiations while engaging with senior deal teams and clients across Latin America.

The role emphasizes financial analysis, modeling, and market research, with direct exposure to C-suite executives during all deal phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2-5 years investment banking experience
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Knowledge of, interest or experience working with companies in Latin America in an investment banking environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, structuring, and recommending financial and strategic alternatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic combinations, asset sales and divestitures.
• Supporting day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation analysis and negotiating agreements; coordinate development and review of materials with senior deal team members.
• Analyzing financial data and developments in financial markets important to the business of PJT Partners.
• Conducting research of targeted industries to support strategic and financial analyses and investment opportunities.
• Performing valuation analysis of prospective investment opportunities under consideration, including assessment of financial risks.
• Designing and developing quantitative models to assess economic performance of targeted companies.
• Preparing written analysis and evaluations of investment opportunities for management and client review.
• Participating in client meetings, contracts negotiation and due diligence sessions.
