Job Description
Job Title: Private Banking Client Support Specialist
Summary
The Private Banking Client Support Specialist delivers high-touch service to private banking clients, ensuring smooth operational execution and day-to-day support. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to facilitate transactions, resolve issues, and coordinate complex banking requests. In addition to direct client service, the specialist handles essential back-office functions with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency.
This position is eligible for remote work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Deliver personalized, high-touch service to private banking clients, addressing daily banking needs with professionalism and discretion.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support client requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist with account maintenance, wire transfers, documentation, and other routine and complex banking operations.
- Support back-office functions related to private banking, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve client issues, escalating as needed to maintain a high standard of client satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation to support audits, compliance checks, and internal reporting.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and bankers to support the overall client experience and long-term relationship goals.
- Help onboard new clients by gathering supporting documentation, verification, and operational setup processes.
- Monitor account activity to identify service opportunities or potential concerns and respond appropriately.

- Oversees internal mailbox for customer/client requests, ensuring timely responses and coordination with relevant departments.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred)
Required Knowledge/Skills
- Fluent in Mandarin (advanced reading, writing, and speaking)
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in retail, commercial, or private banking with a focus on client service or operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to handle high-net-worth clients with discretion, professionalism, and care.
- Highly organized with strong accuracy in handling financial documentation, transactions, and data entry.
- Ability to troubleshoot client or operational issues independently and escalate when appropriate.
- Comfortable working across departments and with third-party partners to ensure timely and smooth service delivery.
- Able to manage shifting priorities, multiple requests, and time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains the highest standards of client confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Desired Experiences
- Familiarity with banking operations, including account maintenance, wire transfers, documentation processing, and back-office workflows.
- Understanding of relevant banking regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and confidentiality best practices.
- Proficient in banking systems, CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook), and secure communication platforms.
