Job summary

Wicker Hamilton is recruiting for a growing law firm seeking an attorney with substantial privacy counsel experience, strong technology transactions skills and a demonstrated interest in technology and AI.

This role offers the opportunity to combine specialist privacy advice with hands-on commercial contracting, supporting businesses on the data and technology issues that shape their agreements.

The role

You will review and negotiate MSAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs and BAAs, taking direct responsibility for privacy provisions and related commercial risks. You will also contribute to developing practical, AI-supported ways of delivering legal services.

Your background

You will bring a BigLaw background and substantive experience advising on privacy, data protection and technology transactions. You should be comfortable translating complex requirements into commercially workable advice and personally negotiating privacy provisions within commercial agreements.

Healthcare experience is a priority, particularly familiarity with BAAs, HIPAA and contracts involving hospitals or health systems. Demonstrated aptitude for technology and practical interest in AI are also central to the brief.
