Job summary

Wicker Hamilton is seeking an attorney with substantial privacy counsel experience and strong technology transactions skills, plus a demonstrated interest in technology and AI. The role blends privacy advice with hands-on contracting, supporting data and technology issues in agreements.

You will review MSAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs and BAAs, taking direct responsibility for privacy provisions and related commercial risks, and contribute to AI-assisted delivery of legal services.

Qualifications

• BigLaw background with substantive privacy, data protection and tech transactions experience.
• Able to translate complex requirements into commercially workable advice and negotiate privacy provisions.
• Healthcare/BAA/HIPAA familiarity is a plus and relevant to the brief.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate MSAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs and BAAs, with direct responsibility for privacy provisions.
• Identify and mitigate related commercial risks in technology contracts.
• Develop practical, AI-assisted workflows for delivering legal services.
