Job summary

GM Financial, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a privacy-focused engineer to collaborate with operations, marketing, legal and cybersecurity teams to implement privacy best practices across projects. You will serve as a subject matter expert on privacy engineering and translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.

The role involves developing privacy controls, influencing ad-tech strategy, and managing multiple privacy projects.

Qualifications

2-4 years handling privacy and technology matters (privacy engineering, marketing ad tech compliance).
High School Diploma or higher.
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred in related field or equivalent work experience.
CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT privacy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, marketing, legal, cybersecurity, data governance and privacy teams to implement privacy best practices in projects and decisions.
Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy engineering and communicate privacy solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Develop privacy controls and features, including policies and standards, as required by privacy laws and regulations.
Influence strategy related to marketing and ad tech solutions, including privacy-enhancing technologies and cookie management and compliance.
Manage multiple privacy projects simultaneously with urgency.
Conduct operational deep dives on privacy-related processes and systems and engineer scalable solutions.
