Job summary

Welltower is seeking a Privacy Engineer to build and scale the privacy program across legal, security, and technology teams. You will design technical controls, run privacy by design, and implement data minimization practices in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

You’ll translate regulations such as HIPAA, UK GDPR, and CCPA into concrete technical requirements, own data inventories and OneTrust workflows, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and IaC-driven controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of privacy engineering or security experience.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and US privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct privacy risk assessments and PIAs within security intake.
• Translate regulatory requirements into technical controls.
• Develop privacy automation and CI/CD integration.
