Paramount Skydance Corporation in New York, NY, is seeking a privacy engineer to support the global privacy program. You will build scalable tools and embed privacy-by-design across platforms including web, mobile, and connected TV.

You will own privacy codebases, automate testing, and lead audits while partnering with legal, product, and cross‑functional tech teams to translate regulations into concrete engineering requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Git, testing, code review, CI/CD.
• 5+ years building software tools, utilities, automation, and diagnostics using Python, Ruby, or Ruby on Rails.
• 3+ years developing and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Proven ability to execute automated and manual testing, extend test frameworks, and maintain CI/CD quality gates.

Responsibilities

• Partner with legal, product, and technology teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles into products and backend infrastructure.
• Translate global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) into engineering requirements, specifications, and architectures.
• Take technical ownership of privacy codebases and build, extend, and maintain scalable privacy infrastructure.
• Develop new privacy technologies and extend existing tools, automation, and diagnostic scripts.
• Conduct comprehensive privacy compliance audits across Web, Mobile, and Connected TV platforms.
• Automate CMP compliance testing and integrate with engineering teams across units.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and cases against software platforms and applications.
• Document processes and maintain architectural documentation for internal teams.
