Welltower Inc. is seeking a Privacy Engineer to design and scale the privacy program across data, systems, and processes.

You will bridge legal requirements with technical controls, build automation, and align privacy with business goals in a fast-paced healthcare infrastructure environment. The role involves hands-on development in Python, data discovery, and integration with CI/CD, IaC, and OneTrust governance, while collaborating with security, legal, and engineering teams to ensure ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in privacy engineering, privacy operations, information security, or related role.
• Experience with HIPAA, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other privacy laws and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Privacy risk assessments and PIAs integrated into security intake process.
• Incident response support with privacy impact assessment.
• Privacy by design with data minimization controls and access restrictions.
• Regulatory interpretation to translate laws into technical controls.
• Data governance including data inventories and mapping with OneTrust.
• Automate privacy controls using Python; maintain GitHub, CI/CD, and IaC pipelines.
