Meta is seeking a Software Engineer (Technical Leadership) to own the interface between engineering and Governance, Risk and Compliance in Washington, DC. You will set the technical direction for privacy obligations and build centralized standards and tooling that let the business move fast while meeting regulatory requirements.

You will mentor engineers, drive multi-year technical roadmaps, and lead cross-functional initiatives with policy, legal, and product partners.

Formación

• 12+ years of designing, building, and scaling large-scale software systems.
• Experience leading multi-year technical roadmaps and cross-organizational initiatives.
• Ability to influence across teams via proposals and architectural reviews.
• Mentoring engineers and driving engineering culture improvements.
• Strong understanding of privacy, security, and regulatory constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive the multi-year technical vision and architecture for large-scale product systems.
• Identify and solve cross-cutting engineering problems across systems and org boundaries.
• Establish extensible foundations, coding standards, and patterns that improve consistency and delivery velocity.
• Lead cross-functional execution of org-wide technical initiatives with milestones and metrics.
• Communicate complex strategies and trade-offs clearly to audiences from ICs to executives.
