Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Privacy & Data Protection Intern in Nashville to learn basics of privacy and data protection, assist on client projects, and support internal initiatives. You will work with experienced professionals on data privacy, governance, AI governance, policy development, and privacy technology implementation.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Business Management.
• MBA or JD enrollment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with privacy maturity assessments based on regulations or frameworks.
• Assist with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) of client systems, vendors, or processing activities.
• Assist with managed service client tasks.
• Document client meetings to socialize with the team.
• Develop client reports including findings and recommendations.
• Develop project deliverables for privacy projects.
• Collect information for processing registers and data inventories.
• Conduct research to ensure up-to-date privacy solutions are used.
