Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Privacy & Data Protection Intern to support privacy maturity assessments, PIAs, and governance initiatives across client projects. You will work with experienced professionals, help document findings, and assist with client reports, registers, and data inventories.

This internship requires enrollment in a bachelor’s program in engineering, tech, CS, cybersecurity, or business management, with MBA/JD preferred; strong MS Office skills and effective communication are

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Technology, CS, Cybersecurity, or Business Management, required
• Enrolled in MBA or JD program, preferred
• Leadership experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists with privacy maturity assessments based on regulations or frameworks
• Assists with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) of client systems
• Supports managed service client tasks and documents meetings
• Assists with developing client reports, findings, and recommendations
• Collects information for privacy processing registers and data inventories
• Monitors project tasks and risks; travel as necessary
• Other duties as required
