Anthropic is seeking a Privacy Counsel to join our Legal team in San Francisco or New York. You will counsel on privacy issues and build programs addressing data protection in a global context, partnering with Legal, Integrity & Compliance, Safeguards, Security, Policy, Research, and Product.

The role focuses on translating technical architectures into risk guidance, negotiating DPAs/BAAs, leading privacy efforts on strategic deals, and driving conformity with evolving laws.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Hands-on experience advising a technology business on privacy/data protection.
• Experience drafting and negotiating DPAs, BAAs, and data sharing agreements.
• Working knowledge of global privacy laws (Americas, EEA, APAC).

Responsabilidades

• Counsel product, research, and engineering teams on privacy across lifecycles.
• Translate complex technical architecture into clear risk guidance.
• Lead privacy on strategic deals, including enterprise and platform agreements.
• Oversee privacy diligence on M&A and support governance.
