Responsibilities

• Actively follow privacy trends and new laws domestically and abroad.
• Maintain expertise on applicable privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, GLBA).
• Provide guidance on privacy risks of business initiatives and changes.
• Consult with legal counsel on privacy compliance matters.
• Map regulatory requirements to business processes and activities.
• Advise on application of privacy requirements, controls, and remediation.
• Engage with compliance testing to advise on privacy matters.
• Review privacy-related complaints and guide remediation.
• Prepare and participate in reporting on privacy compliance.
• Travel to Capital One locations as needed.
